Eligibility: The Thousand Lives Press, LLC Book Character Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is open to legal residents of the United States, Australia, UK, Ireland, and Scotland who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Thousand Lives Press, LLC and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
Entry Period: The Giveaway begins on February 16, 2023 and ends on June 20, 2023 (“Entry Period”).
How to Enter: To enter, participants must complete one or more of the following tasks during the Entry Period: (1) Pre-order any upcoming book by Kathy Haan and provide proof of purchase, (2) Give a review of any Kathy Haan book on social media, blog post, or book review platform and provide proof of review, (3) Join the Kathy Haan newsletter, (4) Attend the book signing event and fill out the entry form, (5) Follow Kathy Haan on social media and provide proof, or (6)Post a Reel/TikTok about any/all of the books. Each task counts as an entry.

Postcard entries must be postmarked by June 1, 2023. Limit one postcard entry per person.
Prize: One (1) winner will be selected to be featured as a character in an upcoming book by Kathy Haan. The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The winner will be notified by email or mail within five (5) days following the end of the Entry Period. The winner will have five (5) days to respond to the notification and provide their contact information, including full name, mailing address, and email address. If the winner does not respond within five (5) days, a new winner will be selected. The winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, liability waiver, and a publicity release.
General Conditions: By entering the Giveaway, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Thousand Lives Press, LLC. Thousand Lives Press, LLC reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Giveaway, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Thousand Lives Press, LLC’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, as determined by Thousand Lives Press, LLC in its sole discretion. Thousand Lives Press, LLC is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Giveaway.
